streaming will not play when prompted on my computer.. Help?? tired of poor customer service!

When I try stream on computer it will not nothing has changed been through all the hoops and [Edited: "Language"] still not working... help

user_xi46cz Hey there. Can you give us a little more information about attempting to stream on your computer? Is this with Xfinity stream? Is there an error message?

Logged in... from the Xfinity web site... open the stream page... everything is the everything works... email .. phone... all the tabs work select any channel and nothing will open and connect.. have tried several things reset router...dvr... log in log out... restart computer... no change... worked beginning of last week and around Thursday or so this started...

Hello, @user_9d29f2 thank you for reaching out over Xfinity Forums. There is a know issue with the Xfinity Stream Portal (www.xfinity.com/stream), our engineer experts are working to get this resolved as quickly as possible. I'll watch for an update on the open ticket, and check in with you once I see it has been fully resolved. 

In the meantime, the work around is to use the Xfinity Steam App on a mobile device or tablet. I've also worked with customers that have been successful with the website stream by using an incognito window and refreshing the browser. If you need anything before I check in please let me know.

Having the same issue .  Xfinity stated it is a glitch on their end ... customers unable to acess streaming on computers , laptops , and tablets but can access on iphone through the App .  I have been having this proplem since July 11 , 2025  ... so frustrating !!

We are currently aware of any issue where some customers may be unable to stream content through the Xfinity Stream website. You should be able to access all the same great content through the Xfinity App which is widely available on mobile devices such as phones and tablets along with our X1 set-top box, streaming devices, and more.
