Stream app

When I watch tv episodes on my tablet, they are free. When I try to watch them on my tv, I have to pay. Is this possible? Am I being charged to watch them on my tablet without knowing that I am being charged for them. The button on the stream app just says Watch. When I go to my tv, the button says buy.

@Teach821 Do you have a broadcast TV package or NOW TV with Xfinity, or are you just watching the free content included in the app?

Hi there, @Teach821! Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Community Forum. Is this happening for every single episode of every program you try or specific ones?

@XfinityFrank​ just specific ones. On my tv the button says buy for 2.99 but on the tablet app it just shows watch. Also there are more episodes on the app than on the tv. Does the app have more content or different permissions?

@Teach821, in any instance I can think of, the stream app should have the same content available that the X1 box does. Could you provide some examples of shows and episode numbers where you are seeing a charge on the TV but no charge on the app?
