SNY through Xfinity on my computer

Hi,

Recently, cannot stream SNY on my home computer - message says I need to connect to my home wifi, which it already is. "Due to licensing agreements, some content can only be viewed on your home WiFi."

Can view on my TV, but not computer, seems there are a few channels like this  - what's up with this?  I am going to need a refund for the decrease in functionality.

Anyone else have this problem or find a solution?

Good evening @user_9agflm and thank you for reaching out on our Community Forums, we appreciate your time and hope you are otherwise having a wonderful week so far! I'm sorry to hear that recently you have been unable to stream SNY on your home computer and appreciate you letting us know that you are receiving any error message to connect to your home WiFi even though are already are. I can understand your frustrations and assure you our team is here to help. We'd be happy to run through some troubleshooting steps but first, I'd like to ask a few background questions if that is ok. I see that you stated you can view on your TV but not computer and that there are a few channels like this, what other channels is it happening on? On your computer, are you using our website xfinity.com/stream or the stream app? On your TV, are you using the Stream app as well or watching live?

Hello and thanks for responding.

Using Xfinity.com trying to watch live and the watch button is greyed out and on top of it is

"Connect to in-home WiFi to watch. Why?"  When I click why..

"Due to licensing agreements, some content can only be viewed on your home WiFi."

This is a recent issue.  Never happened before.
Just checked a few other channels - CBS, ABC, FOX having the same issue..  What is going on?

user_9agflm Thanks for confirming. Here is a link to the Networks that are available out and inside your home, https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/tv-go-live-streaming-networks. Let us know if this information helps!

Thanks, but it doesn't help.  I need someone to let me know how to access the channels I just recently was able to stream or confirm that you have now taken that away as well.

user_9agflm Out of curiosity, are you using a wireless or hardwired connection from your computer?

It is wireless.  Some channels are accessible and some are not - makes no sense.  Why are channels not able to be streamed any longer and what changed?
