Premium plus upgrade not working
I added the additional subscription for premium plus for Peacock and it is not working. I’ve spent so much time trying to work with customer service through the chat to try to get it to work and all they do is help me do the same thing over and over again. I’ve tried multiple different browsers, clearing cachet and cookies. I’ve tried on my phone as well as on a laptop. Nothing works. I’m now paying for ad free with a premium plus but my Peacock subscription is not updating. It’s been several days now and nothing is working. I can’t believe how unfriendly Xfinity is to their customers and how difficult they make it to contact customer service to actually provide a service to get help. I mentioned to one of the chat people that they just need to give me $100 a year and I’ll pay out-of-pocket for my Peacock premium plus account. But at this point in time it’s probably just worth me paying for the full service since I’ve spent so much time trying to get this fixed and there doesn’t seem to be any end insight. And I think I had a premium plus account and got suckered into getting the free peacock premium account through Xfinity only to waste time and no money.

Good afternoon @user_9b9n9x, and thanks for taking the time to post here on the forums. Are you still having issues activating your subscription?

I am having the exact same problem. I activated Peacock Premium believing it did not have ads. I have upgraded to Premium Plus but cannot activate it. I’ve spent close to 5 hours on chat with Xfinity support, tried the Xfinity app and browsers, multiple computers. Nothing works. Each time I speak with support, they’ve tried to upgrade
me to a higher level of internet service, saying the money I can save will allow me to pay for Peacock Premium Plus directly from Peacock and still come out ahead.
Even the links support sends me have errored out, with the message: “400 Bad Request” or “Looks like something went wrong. Try again”.

I have had the same issue. I have been back and fourth with Peacock and Xfinity. Each blame the issue on each other. My xfinity account shows I am paying for PP+ without ads yet Peacock has not/cannot update my account on their end. It's a frustrating loop of chats, reactivations, and conversations without resolution. It seems to me that there is a known issue that no one will accknowledge. They would rather their customers just spend hours calling in to try and resolve something that cannot be resolved. I currently have a ticket open with peacock. Every day I check on the ticket #. Every day they say they are still working on it. I wonder if there anyone out there who has acutally successfully upgraded their peacock account.
