Peacock Registration - Log in

I have a Comcast account.

I did try using my Comcast userID but it tells me to recreate a new account.

Why can't I use the userID and password that I have Comcast on the Peacock website?

I want to be to view the channels on my computer via a browser.

is the X1 Peacock application working normally and signed in to an email address with a password assigned?

Sorry for the delayed response.

Never got an email there was a reply.

That said.

I can watch Peacock on my TV (X1) without a problem.

But when I go to the Peacock web site using any of my browsers it tell me I have create a log in and password.

If I want to use my currecnt Comcast userId & password it does not allow me to do so.

It wants me to create a new userId & password.

Question.

Why can 't I use my current user info?

While in the Peacock X1 app it shows my email that is attached to my account.

It is the same one I used when trying to log in via my browser.

 

Check mark is next to Peacock Premium

Just tried again.

Here is the error.

"Sorry, we did not recognize either your username or password"

go to the Peacock app on the X1 set top box. go to the Peacock app. go to the 'gear' and look at the email that is used to sign in. It is that email that you will need to use to sign into the app on the smart device.

on the app, select option to reset password. (if unset it will let you pick a new one).

There is no reset.

This is what the screen shows.

Top - Search - Channels - Trnding - Browse - Account icon

Left side - Account - Terms - Privacy - Do not Sell - Signed in as  - Wrong Email?

Center - Your plan - Peascock Premium - Plus Option - Visit peacocktv.com/account

Right side - Included w/Xfinity -   5.00 /month 7 day free trial

not looking for a 'reset' look for a small round icon on the x1 peacock home screen on the top far right side (it is a gear).

There is no gear on the right side of the app screen (X1 TV).

Please remember that I have NOT created a Peacock account via a web browser.

Do I have to?

If so, maybe that is why I can not view within a browser.

If I have to will it let  (allow) me to use my current Comcast uerID and Pasword.

there is an arrow pointing to the settings icon you see when opening the X1 Peacock app.

That is the Account icon.

If you look at my post dated 08-14-2020 08:48 AM

I explained what I see on that page.

Where it says "Signed in as" shows my correct email address.

I do appreciate your help.

But I decide not to go any further.

does it match the email shown at peacocktv.com/account  ? you can change the email on your account there and then use it to log in to the peacock app. if you wish you can 'change' your password right there on that page then use the new pass on the app.

Thanks but I am not going to get another email address just for Peacock.

Like I said before I did NOT register (create) with the online (browser) version.

I only have Peacock via the my X! box.

It does not allow me to change anything within the X1 Peacock app.
