Paramount app freeze

We use our Paramount app often.  The past few months we have had extreme issues with freezing, and eventually being booted off completely.  what is the problem????

Greetings @user_pygzj4, thanks for visiting our community forums support page. I do want to let you know that this is a known issue that our engineers are working with paramount to resolve. We'll monitor this for you and circle back to this thread as we learn more! I know that freezing can be quite frustrating especially with all the recent high quality releases from paramount, but our triage teams are already on it!❤️

If the Paramount+ app is freezing, it is likely due to a known, persistent bug in the app, particularly on Smart TVs (like Samsung or LG) or during ad breaks. The app is often described as having poor optimization compared to other streaming service.

Check for both Paramount+ app updates and system updates for your TV/device.
