Mini Guide no Longer Working

The mini guide function has now stopped working on all my Amazon Firestick’s. It just goes back to the main guide.

I am having this same issue tried uninstalling and reinstalling no luck. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hello, user_n348pc! Thank you for reporting this issue. Xfinity X1 offers the option of viewing programming information from the Mini Guide, a streamlined version of the guide that displays on the right-hand side of your screen. Is this issue isolated to your Amazon Firestick? Have you tried unplugging your equipment for a minute or two and plugging it back in once more?

I am also missing the mini guide on my Amazon Firestick Xfinity app. I unplugged and plugged back in the Firestick however the mini-guide stll does not work.

The mini guide feature stopped working on all 5 of our Fire TV Sticks in the last few weeks.  We have Version 8.11.0.2199 of the stream app running on First Generation FIrestick 4Ks running FireOS 6.7.1.1 (NS6711/5886) that have worked fine for years.

The fact that xfinity has not responded to this issue for months is completely unacceptable!  You are pushing me to abandon your service after THREE DECADES and going to AT&T Fiber and YouTube TV for my basic service at a greatly reduced price.

When can we expect a resolution to this issue, or should I just change my service now?

I am not showing any known issues regarding the mini-guide. Has the app recently updated that may have changes some features perhaps? Are you also experiencing any other issues or notice any other changes that may have taken place?

Same issue here, mini guide not working on fire stick since early April  is there a fix for this issue ?

Hello, @user_7b9ef0. Thank you for making us aware you're also experiencing issues with the mini guide not working on the Fire Stick via Forums. Do you by any chance have the latest version of the app installed on the Fire Stick? Have you tried updating the software on the Fire Stick itself?

This issue just started happening to us after working fine for 2+ years.  It appears that this is only the case with HD and UHD screens, as our 720p screens don't have this problem.  I have all first gen FireTV Stick 4k units that have been working fine up until a couple of weeks ago on our 1080p and UHD sets.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app, restarted the Firestick, cleared app cache and data for the Stream app on the Firestick manage apps screen, all to no avail. 

This is clearly an issue with the Stream app and needs to be fixed!   This, coupled with my recent experience with having to replace the one Xfinity DVR box in my house twice in the last month and the incredibly poor service experience I had trying to resolve it with four different people - NONE of whom were in the right group or had the right expertise - is pushing me towards AT&T Fiber and YouTubeTV for my non-premium service streaming needs.

What will it take to get this issue resolved with the Stream app????

I will need to troubleshoot this further by accessing your account. Please send us a direct message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”.
