Is there a backup battery similar to a CMOS on the circuit board of a XUMO remote?

I would like to know if there is a CMOS backup battery installed in a XUMO remote. I removed the batteries but curious if there is anything to keep the remote live.

As far as we’re aware, the Xumo Stream Box remote does not contain a separate CMOS-style backup battery like you’d find on a computer motherboard.

The remote is powered directly by the removable batteries, and once those are removed, the remote should fully power down. Any pairing or configuration information is typically stored in non-volatile memory inside the remote itself, meaning it can retain settings without needing a backup battery to stay “live.”
