Error code: TVAPP-00166
I had the streaming app on two TVs in my home. After about two weeks, one of the tvs came up with this error code TVAPP-00166. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the app multiple times, continuing to come up with the same code. The tv in the living room started having issues this evening and then started giving me the same code. I cannot find a way to troubleshoot it. I have now been on hold wait for a customer service representative for over two hours now. I’m especially frustrated as I did not want to stream tv to begin with and asked them to get us a box, which they did not do when they came out to install services to our home. I need a fix to this issue

Hello, @user_ce6e25! Thanks for posting on our Community Forums for assistance. I am so sorry to hear about the TV App error code and the multiple failed attempts at troubleshooting. Definitely, not the experience we would like you to have. I'd be happy to take a look and get to the bottom of this. To confirm, what kind of TV are you using to watch the Xfinity Streaming App?
