Hello @user_c0d0f4! Currently, our Xfinity Stream app does not have the option to clear the recently watched history, however our X1 cable boxes do, https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/x1-last-watched-clear-history.
@XfinityJennifer Thank you for your reply. However, the X1 box does not show the same recently watched shows as the Xfinity Stream app. So there is no way to clear the shows in question. How long will they remain in your app?
Also, could you please ask your programmers to improve your app.
One more question: How do I make NO captions as the default in Xfinity Stream using the Firestick? Presently we have to click through to turn captioning off each and every time we watch a show, which is tedious. Thank you.
@user_c0d0f4 We appreciate your feedback as we're always looking for ways to improve our products and service. I realize it must be frustrating to not have closed captioning remain off. That shouldn't be the case. This link explains how to turn off closed captioning in the app, https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/xfinity-mobile-apps-closed-captioning.
