DVR on Xfinity stream compared to my DVR

I’m seeing limited recordings on my Xfinity stream as opposed to what shows on the DVR and it seems to be getting worse on the Xfinity stream. I read something about the storage on my DVR but since the Internet goes down I can’t watch any recordings it would seem that everything that’s on the DVR is actually in the cloud. What’s going on?
