Cant stream network tv; other streaming fine

For weeks/months now I have been unable to stream any network tv. All channels ask me to sign in to my provider (Xfinity, unfortunately), and if I do, it’s an automatic fail on every attempt. I can stream fine anywhere I DON’T have to get authorization from Xfinity: Youtube, websites, etc. But anything that wants me to first sign in with Xfinity fails to let me stream and gices me an error 100% of the time--CBS, NBC, FOX and so on. All shows.

WHAT IS THE DEAL?????????????

I have called Xfinity before and been told “It’s a problem we’re aware of and working on” but it has been like 2 months now. How long am I supposed to have to put up with this?

Good afternoon @user_phl8gz, and thank you for reaching out on our Community Forums, we appreciate it. I see that you are having trouble streaming any networks where you are asked to sign in with your provider, thank you for letting us know. May I ask if you are using the Stream app to stream your channels? What error messages are you receiving?

On PC not using Apps. I manged to contact Xfinity once again ans was told (and now i understand clearly) there is an ongoing issue with Xfinity streaming not working for many people. That is the issue. They're still "working" on it. I've now figured out that all the networks don't stream the video themselves but just stream through the provider, thus the streaming always fails because Xfinity's streaming service has some kind of major issue they seem unable to resolve now for 2 months or so

@user_phl8gz Yes, this is correct. We're working on resolving any known issues with the Streaming app. We can definitely troubleshoot this as well. Have you tried using a different device? If so, are you experiencing the same issue as your PC when you use another device?

I only watch on my PC. If that doesn't work, can't watch. Still happening as of 1/8

Thanks for those additional details, user_phl8gz. Are you using the Xfinity Stream app in order to stream those channels, or how are you attempting to stream?

It's right in the original post!!!! IF I GO TO ANY NETWORK THAT HAS TV SHOWS, THEY ASK ME TO SIGN IN USING XFINITY. THEN IT WILL NOT STREAM; IT FAILS. If any site STREAMS THE FEATURE ITSELF, IT WORKS FINE. Only if I have to sign in with Xfinith does it fail.

This is [Edited: Language].  Streaming randomly breaks.

Give me my money back and fix this.
