can not stream on macbook air

By now this looks like a really old problem. I can not stream xfinity on my laptop, and like other users, I'm paying for service I'm not getting. Is xfinity ever going to fix this?

Hi there @user_45b4df were you able to get your streaming going on your laptop?

No. Xfinity will not stream on my MacBook Air with the Monterey os. I spent nearly an hour with customer support who had no idea what to do and wasted that hour. At one point they reset our wifi without mentioning that the wifi would not be operable for a few minutes which sent my wife and son who work at home storming into my office to find out what had happened. I even tried the Webcatalog solution which also did not work. Although the Monterey os is a couple of os versions back (and the best os for my 2021 MacBook Air - Intel) I should think this system is new enough that it should be able to stream Xfinithy. It has no issues with Netflix, Prime, or YouTube.

Hello @user_45b4df thank you for reaching out to us on the Xfinity Forums, I hope you are having a good day. I am sorry to hear that you are unable to stream on your MacBook Air, as someone who loves to use the Xfinity stream services on different devices I understand how important it is for it to be working on the devices you want to stream on. Also, I am sorry that during the troubleshooting process your Wi-Fi went down, sometimes when troubleshooting certain things the system will have us restart the modem, and we should have asked before performing a restart. You have definitely reached the right team to take a look at this for you. When you try to use the Xfinity stream website on your MacBook, are you getting any error messages?
