AppleTv Activation

When I tried to activate my streamsaver subscriptions through the streaming subscriptions page I click the activate button, it loads for a few seconds, and ends with "Something unexpected happened". I tried multiple times on a computer and phone. Deleted browsing data and retried. Still with the same issue. I then went to the direct link stated in other forum posts and that said my subscription was already active which makes no sense because I never linked it to my apple tv account so I have no idea what account is active. I had no issues with disney plus, netflix, or peacock.

Thank you, @user_czzpjn for reaching out to us on our Xfinity Community forum with your concern.  We're here to help!❤️

Based on the information in your post, It would appear that you have had no issue activating Disney Plus, Netflix, or Peacock, and are currently having difficulty with activating Apple TV.

You stated that you attempted to go the subscriptions page.  To clarify was that the page located at https://www.xfinity.com/yoursubscriptions?

When it says your subscription is already active, have you tried signing into it with your credentials?

If so, what error (if any) did you receive?

Also you state when you attempted to use the direct activation link, was it this link you used? https://xfinity.com/activate-apple

We definitely want to make sure you get a resolution on your issue for you, so the clarifying details will be extremely helpful in doing so.

@XfinityCliff

1. I have successfully connected to Disney/Hulu, Netflix, and Peacock. Apple TV is the only one giving issues.

2. That is correct. I was in the "your subscriptions" which shows the available subscriptions to activate. The AppleTV has the "activate" button. I click on that button and the AppleTV pop-up happens, loads for a few seconds, and then displays the "something unexpected happened" and states to try again and if it persists to try again later. Since this original post have tried multiple more times with the same problem.

3. When I used the direct link the xfinity.com/activate-apple, and is says my subscription is active. I signed into my AppleTV account and it tell me that I have a 7 day free trial and that it will cost $12.99 after the free trial is up. When I hit the free trial button, it wants me to put in payment details. If I have the account via the xfinity streamsaver, I don't think I would need the free trial?

4. Also in all my other subscriptions (disney/hulu, peacock, netflix) it says in my account details it is managed through xfinity, but in my appletv account it doesn't say anything about the subscription being managed by xfinity, or that I even have a subscription.

Thanks for that additional detail @user_czzpjn!  I appreciate you clarifying your steps for us and your patience in working with us toward a resolution for you.  ❤️

One additional question I would like to ask, have you ever had an Apple TV account prior to the Stream Saver Option with us?

@XfinityCliff

I have had an apple account but have not used it in a long time. It is the same email address as my Xfinity account.

The thing I don't get is that the initial activation from the your subscriptions page never got to the point of me signing in to my account since it never loaded. So it didn't know my Apple account. So I am not sure how when using the direct link it thinks it is already active.
