Apple Plus & Tizen OS

I have the StreamSaver bundle. When I first got it, called customer service & after much wrangling, got Apple Plus to work. Didn't use it for a while and could not reactivate it so called support again. Could not get it activated after 2+ hours, and was then told that Apple Plus no longer works with Tizen OS (Samsung TV). Is this true, or was the customer service agent just giving up?
