If on a computer, tablet, or mobile device you will be able to minimize the Xfinity Stream app to be a smaller pop-up window on your device. To do this simply click the "mini-player" option (see image below) found at the top of any played program. You will then see a minimized version of the streamed content allowing you the ability to open other apps and programs on your devices.
Unfortunately, this is not an option for the Xfinity Stream app on television or other streaming devices (Amazon Firestick, Roku, etc).
