Xfinity stream shuts off after startup on roku

I have two roku TVs. The Xfinity Stream has been working fine since I moved into my house 2 years ago. Tonight when I go to start the stream on either TV, the app starts normally goes to the main screen and almost immediately it shuts down and takes me back to the roku main screen. I have tried to reset the internet connection, reset the TV, reset my wifi, deleted the app and reinstalled it. Nothing seems to have worked. I have a cable box on an older TV, it works. It works on my mobile device. Roku points me to Xfinity and Xfinity tells me how to install the app, then points me to Roku. Many forums state basically cross you fingers and hope it corrects itself. I am looking for a bit more support

I am having the exact same problem tonight for the first time. If anyone has a solution please let me know. The app is up to date and so is my Roku.

@user_4b6oiy​ ​ the time window is the same. Roku or Xfinity must have released an update to "fix" an issue. Our only hope other than the "cross your fingers" approach is to flood their customer service until it is actually fixed

Updated the app, deleted and reinstalled the app 3 times, updated Roku tv software 2 times, restarted the tv from settings 2 times, my dad was upstairs on the phone with Xfinity which I assume entailed restarting the modem and other useless troubleshooting steps that Xfinity will walk everyone through, and still not working. Other streaming apps are working fine. I can see this issue goes back to at least April 2023!!

Same issue. We have 4 roku devices and none of them will run xfinity stream at all tonight since 6pm. Cable box we have works fine. Just no roku streaming devices.

Same here.  Works fine on my phone but none of my rokus work.
