xfinity stream live sports pixelated

Everything else is fine when I watch the Xfinity stream on my 2022 Samsung TV, but when I watch live sports, its constantly in and out of pixelation. I can stream the same game on another app (Peacock, ESPN) with no pixelation but if I want to watch the Bruins or the Red Sox, I have to use Xfinity stream app.

The TV says I have the most up to date Xfinity Stream app, but research online says I don't (needs to be Xfinity Stream app version 2.2.5)

Is there a way to manually download the app update and install with USB?

I have, and I've also tried deleting the app and reinstalling. But I'm not able to install Xfinity Stream app version 2.2.5, only an older version. Is there a way to download the newest version to a memory stick and then I could manually install it on my TV?
