xfinity stream beta feature requests

I use the Xfinity Stream Beta app on Roku devices.  I have been using it for over a year and it works fine, but when will Xfinity issues the next version?  Usually beta versions are preliminary versions before the full bug-free feature-rich version is complete.  Specifically, there are 2 BIG limitations to the Stream Beta app.

1.  Compared to Netflix or Amazon streaming, the Xfinity app does not provide fast forward or rewind while allowing viewing the images stream by.  The only indication of progress is a time clock.  So, yes, you can tell that you are moving forward or backward, but having the mini images visible and moving as they do in Netflix or Amazon streaming, allows you to more accurately locate the point at which you wish return to play.

2.  Compared to using the Comcast DVR box, the big limitation while watching Live TV in the Beta app is that you cannot pause the show.  This can be done on any live show from the Comcast DVR boxes, but in the app you can only pause recorded content, not live content.

So my questions are when will the post-beta app be released, and will these valuable new features be included?

We truly appreciate you taking the time to provide this. At this time we do not have any details to provide but will be sure to communicate with our customers as soon as we have any exciting updates to give.

Sheila,

Thank you for the reply.  Since you are an Xfinity employee, can you tell me is there anyone else I should communicate with about the two requests I posed or are you the best contact?  I am a bit disappointed that the beta has been out for over a year with no updates.
