Xfinity Steam will not open on Ipad

When logging into Xfinity stream on iPad, it says something went wrong. We’re sorry, something unexpected just happened.  Please try again. 
I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled and still get the same pop up when I try to log on. Works for me on my iPhone just not on iPad 9th gen. Operating system is 17.3.1
