Use of Xfinity Streaming on Ipad Mini 2 with IOS 12.5.8

Good Day... I have an older Ipad Mini 2 that uses OS 12.5.8.  In order for me to use the xfinity streaming app, it automatically downloads the older version of the app.  When I downloaded the older app, it's working perfectly.  Last week, however, the app started not letting me sign in.  When I try to sign in now, I get a black screen with the words; "Sign in with your ID comcast Business customers sign in here by signing in, you agree to our terms of servie and privacy policy.  Lets Go".  There is nowhere on that page I can sign in or click to sign in.  When I 'x' out of the screen I get a message that says; "Something went wrong, we're sorry, something unexpected just happened.  Please try again."  When I try again, it does the same thing.  I tried reloading the app and it does the same thing and also deleted the cache on explorer.  Any help to fix this?  Thank you!!!!
