TV Go channel issue

I have Expanded Basic cable and I used to be able to watch NBC through the Xfinity Stream App, but 3 days ago I started getting a message the “there is a location issue “ and I can no longer watch NBC.  It comes up as a TV Go channel.

Hello @user_dv38hq, and thanks for reaching out on our Xfinity Community forums!

I can understand how frustrating it would be to suddenly lose access to a channel you've been able to watch without issue, especially when nothing on your account appears to have changed.

When the Xfinity Stream app reports a location-related error on a TV Go channel, it can sometimes indicate that the app is having difficulty verifying your location or recognizing that you're connected to your home network. To help narrow this down, could you let us know what device you're using to access the Stream app and whether you're connected to your home Xfinity Internet service when attempting to watch? It would also be helpful to know the exact wording of the error message and whether the issue is affecting only NBC or if you're seeing similar behavior with other local broadcast channels.

With a little more information, we can better determine whether this is related to location verification, device settings, or something specific to the channel entitlement.

Hello @user_cpcn37, thank you for the comment. Sorry to hear that you’re experiencing issues with your TV service as well. I can certainly understand how frustrating it is when your service isn’t working as expected. Have you had a chance to try any troubleshooting steps, such as unplugging the modem for 30–60 seconds and then plugging it back in? You can also make sure the Xfinity Stream app is connected to your home network and try signing out of the app and back in.
