Streaming apps keeps freezing

Running the xfinity streaming app or fire stick tv. It keeps freezing for up to 30 seconds at a time.

I have rebooted my modem and router, uninstall and reinstalled the app to no avail. I also use Hulu, Apple TV +, and even peacock on the same firestick units and none of these apps ever freeze.

it happens on two different tv’s a new Sony and a 5 year old Samsung, both using new firestick tv units.

It will not load on any of my roku devices, but will load on my desktop browser, great timing

Thank you for reaching out to our Xfinity Community Forum page, @user_e9781c! I am very sorry to hear you are having troubles with the Stream app freezing. Have you attempted to clear app data and cache on the Fire TV devices?

It's working just fine now that the superbowl is over. Almost seems like by design :)

Glad to hear that it is up and running again! We hope you were able to still catch the game and watch your teams play off during the Super Bowl! Have you had a chance to check if it was specific channels or were all channels on the app having issues?
