Stream full screen, controls do not leave screen so TV is dimmed on iPad

The Stream apps full screen, controls stay on, do not leave screen, so TV is dimmed on iPad screen.  This has been happening for last 2 weeks.  Makes the stream app unusable.  Anyone else see this? @Xfinity Support , is there a fix for this behavior?

@UserWithIssue . Thanks for letting us know about your stream app issue. I don't see any known issues and this is the type of issue we want to look at putting in a ticket for. Does the issue happen on iPhones and any other iPads? Did it start recently?

No other devices have seen this behavior.  Also, is intermittent, but often, and has been occurring for a few months.  Just getting more and more often.  As an FYI, my iPad is a 9th gen.

Thank you for letting us know @UserWithIssue. Have you already attempted to uninstall the app, clear any history from your iPad, and install t app to see if this helps at all?

I no longer work for Comcast.

My IPad all of a sudden in not displaying the same size screen view from my security camera view. Instead of the same view as my security Xfinity touchscreen, my IPad has only a partial camera view with a LARGE white screen below it with advertisements (Add Video Recording…Learn More) . How do I retrieve a full camera view screen again and rid the white screen below?

Hi there, @user_51526e. Thank you for commenting on this post. What type of troubleshooting have you done? Have you uninstalled the app and installed it once again?

I also have this issue, but only when trying to have audio playing on an Airplay speaker. If I disable the airplay speaker, the controls eventually go away as expected. The Xfinity stream player is the only video player that does this on the iPad that I can tell.

Hello, @user_f23f57. I hope you're having a great day so far. Thanks for reaching out about needing help with getting the audio to work with the Airplay speaker. For future reference, it is better to submit your own post as it creates a ticket to get help, and sometimes posting on an old thread can delay getting help.

It's been a couple of days since you submitted your post. Are you still experiencing this service issue?
