Stream app downloads not showing up

I downloaded several recordings for offline viewing but when I'm offline, the downloads folder shows empty. If I go back on WiFi they reappear.

App worked fine on my previous tablet (iPad) but switched to a Fire Tablet and have this issue. Offline downloads working fine in other apps.

I had the same issue, on international flight had downloaded several movies to watch in-flight but when I pulled up the app (with no wifi) it just told me that I had no downloaded content.  When I connected to wifi, they showed up beautifully.  On return, I made sure I had connected and pulled up the downloaded content before boarding - was able to start watching with no wifi but when my tablet reset due to attaching my keyboard (also allows it to stand up) it again told me I had no downloaded content.  The whole purpose of downloading shows/movies is to be able to watch when you have no internet connectivity!!!

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, @ShilohLady. My name is Kim and I will be happy to look into all this for you. Have you tried to re-access the "downloaded" material/content?

yes, after I signed back in, everything showed up as it should.  Note that I had signed in prior to boarding the plane which I thought would alleviate the problem.

That is interesting... It must have signed you out, and needed the Wi-Fi to reconnect. Thank you for letting us know. I have passed this feedback along. 👍

It would seem better if some token could be stored locally indicating that a login had been performed and that it would be valid for some period of time - perhaps up to 7 days?

@user_f537e1 Hi there, thank you for taking the time to reach out for assistance. I understand you are having some issues with the Xfinity Stream app, and it would be my pleasure to help. Have you made sure you have the most up to date version of the app? Also, have you tried uninstalling and installing it again to see if the refresh helps?

I'm trying to download recorded shows to watch on the plane.  every time I click on "download"  I get a message about acquiring offline license then it goes back to main screen.  In my recordings it shows as downloaded but not showing in downloads, even on home wifi.  What is happening?

@user_0282ae. I appreciate you letting us know and this is something we can work on. Does it happen with all downloads? Have you tried multiple deices?
