Roku Xfinity app problem today
The xfinity app has been failing today. After you lauch the app and the first menu shows up, about a second or two later, the app disappears (crashes?) and we are back in the main Roku menu.
We have two devices and this is happening on both. I've rebooted the Roku and the cable modem and the problem persists.
Just wondering if this is a known issue. Otherwise our connection is fine and I am able to stream TV from a computer, etc.

Hello @andpeab We appreciate you letting us know about what has been happening with your Roku and our Xfinity Streaming App. This has been reported as a known issue that we're working on. We do not have an estimated time of resolution yet, but we're working to get it resolved and back up and running as soon as possible. Same here. I also deleted and reinstalled. Quite annoying when this is the only way you watch local channels!

Just wanted to add that I also tried deleting and reinstalling the channel on both TVs and we are still having the same problem.

Hi,
I clicked on your name and it takes me to "About ComcastMarcos", but I don't see any way to send you a private message.
FYI, I just updated my profile with my actual email address instead of the comcast address that I do not use. Not sure if that helps.

The Stream was working well till 3 hours ago.
Now it stopped working. Tries to open but returns to ROKU homepage
I tried everything in the forums.
Restarted device.
Restarted modem.
Removed app, restarted device and modem, reinstalled app.
Hard reset the roku, restarted device and modem, reinstalled app.

I am having the same issues today as well, contacted Comcast service hours ago but no call back and not repaired at this time.
I too performed all of the fixes suggested with no luck on 5 devices.

I am having the same issue today. It was working fine this morning. It opens, I see the main menu for half second, then the app closes and goes back to my Roku Home screen. I have tried turning off and on again. I have removed the app and reinstalled. I have checked for system updates on my TV. I have checked my network settings. All other apps on my TV are working.
Please help!!! We rely on this app for live TV.

Just to let everyone know, I never did hear back from Marcos and the problem is ongoing as far as I can tell. Not sure if this is system wide, or if one needs to be in some odd demographic, but it clearly is not isolated. If anyone who sees this who is able to get the app to run right now, chime in .........
