Request for Xfinity Stream App Support on TCL Google TVs
Hello,
I’m writing to request support for the Xfinity Stream app on TCL Google TVs, specifically models such as the TCL 85QM7K running Google TV / Android 14.
Currently, the Xfinity Stream app is not available for download through the Google Play Store on TCL Google TV devices. Many customers, including myself, rely on Xfinity for cable and streaming services and would greatly benefit from native app support directly on these televisions.
TCL Google TVs are becoming increasingly popular, especially in larger home entertainment setups, and adding the Xfinity Stream app would greatly improve the user experience by eliminating the need for additional streaming devices.
Please consider enabling compatibility or adding official support for the Xfinity Stream app on TCL Google TV models.

I am going to ditch my Xfinity TV subscription because it’s not available on my new TCL tv. Probably have lost lots of customers bc of this issue

I have the same problem, I just bought a flagship Hisense 65U8GQ Google TV and I'm setting up the apps and discovered Xfinity Stream is NOT SUPPORTED! I mean come on, it's 2026 - why isn't Xfinity Stream supported on this high end Google TV?!?!? I'm supposed to stick a Roku into my Google TV just to support the Xfinity Stream app because you guys can't play nice with each other?!?!

I have two LG Google Tvs in my house as well and can’t download Xfinity stream app to watch the Now Tv package you added to my internet plan. Posting that Apple TV devices, Amazon Fire TV, LG Smart TVs, Google Chromecast, Apple Airplay and more utilize the app makes you sound like a bot. Why would we purchase another device to download Xfinity stream when the reason we have a google tv in the first place is so we don’t have to buy another device! This isn’t rocket science. As an Xfinity Diamond customer this is extremely disappointing. . You want us to use your products vs paying for YouTube TV, Hulu+ Tv etc but why would I even consider that when the app I need to watch your programs isn’t even compatible but every other streaming platform is on Google Tv? Put your differences aside and think about the consumer. Xfinity is the one loosing money in the long run. Guess I’m sticking with YouTube Tv.
