Paramount+ freezes then tells me to try again later
Paramount+ runs for a bit and tries to buffer, then freezes and tells me to try again later.
Any suggestions to try resetting my modem as a fix are [Edited: "Language"] as I get Paramount+, like so many others, via the X1 cable box... those 2 devices aren't connected. Cable comes in, goes to a splitter, one side goes to the modem, other side goes to the X1 cable box.
Paramount+ is the only "streaming service" that has this buffer/freeze issue with my X1 box. Suggestions to contact Paramount+ directly are also [Edited: "Language"]... I get Paramount+ from Xfinity and I pay Xfinity for Paramount+,
You provide it, therefore you need to fix it. If it doesn't work, the Xfinity needs to drop it as an offering. As a guess, this is related to how Xfinity streams Paramount+ out to the X1 boxes or all the X1 boxes themselves are faulty. Either way, why pay for something you can not watch.
Any claim by Xfinity that they are "not aware of a problem" is more [Edited: "Language"].... how many times have you used that line with people who have complained about this very phenomena, that people have been complaining about FOR YEARS now!!!
FIX IT!!!

I watch on my Smart TV via Xfinity, and Paramount+ is currently unwatchable. A show will stream with a fuzzy picture for a few minutes then I get an error. It's not worth paying for if this issue isn't rectified.

Paramount+ doesn't work for more than 2 minutes at a time then results in an error message. I watch via Xfinity box. I've had to cancel my sub since I can't see paying for a service that is entirely unwatchable

Well, I am running into the same thing...finally broke down and called Xfinity...an hour later, I get to pay for faster internet (they say that the 500/MB service will do the trick over the 400/MB service...(That was the best laugh I have had in a while...) also, 1 of the 3 little satellite boxes we pay $14/mo for (Don't get me started on that...) refuses to let us pause or reverse....just says it isn't available....went through much gymnastics - hold this button and that button then hit these numbers real fast....guess what - didn't work....So, I get a tech coming out tomorrow and I get a bigger bill.... (BTW, I just ran a number of speed tests since my "Internet Upgrade" and they are they exact same as they were before....) So, my next hour will be looking at what ATT has to offer in my area......25 years with Xfinity, and all you get is higher bills and worse service.....interesting business model....
