On demand not working

I’m having issues with on-demand; I spoke with three representatives still with the same problem; all my smart TVs can’t get on demand; I troubleshoot internet TVs disconnected, deleted app installed The app restarted the modem, no issues with the internet or regular channels; the only problem is with on demand

When I try to watch a free movie from On Demand, I select the Play button.  The screen changes as if the movie is about to start. That is, the name of the movie and the movie company appears in the lower left, and a track line appears across the bottom of the screen. So far so good, But then the screen goes black and after about 20 seconds, it returns to live Xfinity broadcasting. This happens with multiple movies and on multiple tv's in my house. As a specific example, I tried to watch Tenet when this happened.  Oddly, it does not happen with every movie. For example, I was able to watch Carol from Freezee with no problem.

 "Search for Xfinity Support" won't work. To send a "Direct Messaging" message to Xfinity Support:

 

  • Click "Sign In" if necessary

 

 

  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

 

  • The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

 

  • - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
