No Audio on MSNBC

I use Xfinity Stream to watch MSNBC on my computer. Starting 2 days ago, there is no audio, but only on MSNBC; any other channel I bring up works fine. I always use Chrome, but I checked it with Edge, and it's the same thing. I've cleared my cache and history, still nothing. Every so often, when it goes to a commercial, there is audio, and then it disappears as soon as it returns to MSNBC programming. If I switch to TuneIn for audio streaming, that works fine, so I know the audio is there. What could be the problem?

Again - EVERYTHING ELSE WORKS AND HAS AUDIO SO IT IS NOT A HARDWARE OR CONFIGURATION ERROR ON THIS END.

Thank you for being so helpful

We have exactly the same problem.  This started two days ago and continues today.

It hard not to associate this with Comcast's divestiture of MSNBC scheduled for later this year.

I have exact same problem, and also same issue with cnbc channel. No audio. But the web-based streams from other sources have audio just fine on those two channels. So it's not a problem with the feed itself. It's something in the Xfinity side.  I find it interesting that it's two different nationally syndicated NBC channels. And nothing else. I smell a rat, or a hack. Seriously. And the same thing happened a year ago. At a time when a lot of political [Edited: Language] was going on with media. And why doesn't NBC as an organization take up this issue? It's not just happening to random people. Obviously something wrong in the app, or there's a hack going on.  Apparently they have no ability to respond to such problems. Or pretend like they're not happening?

@digirama I’m sorry to hear of the audio issues you're having on MSNBC and NBC. I have a few questions to ask to better assist in resolving this for you.

Is this still happening now?

Does this happen all day or intermittently?

Is this happening on your mobile device using an app or through your cable box?

Hey there mason2152! I'm sorry you weren't able to get audio on MSNBC this weekend! This was a known issue, and we're receiving word from several customers that the audio has been restored. Are you still having audio issues since posting?
