Local channels not available out of home

I lost my CBS and fox local channels using the TV Go app when I'm out of my home and don't know why I should have them all I have is NBC anyone else experiencing this? This is total [Edited: Language]. I'm going to leave Xfinity if this is going to keep happening for local channels is ridiculous.

Thank you for your comment. I wanted to address this in a separate post as it is a different issue. I am sorry to hear about your problems getting your local channels to show out of your home. I can understand how frustrating that might be as I seem to always be on the go.

We’re aware of an issue where some users, when attempting to play an in-home channel from the Xfinity Stream app grid while on an out-of-home network, will see an error message instead of being automatically redirected to the TV Go version of the channel.

Known platforms impacted at this time are: iOS, Android, Web, and Fire TV. Impacted customers will receive the following error message:

"Please connect to your in-home WiFi. Due to licensing agreements, some content can only be viewed on your in-home WiFi."

You should be able to access available TV GO channels, including CBS, ABC, and FOX TV by either:
1. Clicking "Browse TV Go Channels" button from the error message
2. Applying the "Available out of home" filter in the grid using the Filters button

This fix does not work at all. CBS, ABC, PBS, and FOX are unavailable out of home using the streaming app on a Fire TV, but they are available on the iPhone and MacBook. This has been going on for months. No amount of resetting or relaunching makes a difference, and clicking on BROWSE TV GO CHANNELS from the error message takes you to a screen showing available out of home networks, which does not include any of the ones listed above. Applying the Available Out of Home filter has the same effect - all the missing channels are still missing on the channel lineup list. Why can't this be fixed? We are all paying for this service and out of home is a major reason to stay with Xfinity. Please help. Thank you.

@user_yfceog Just to clarify your Apple devices can view CBS, PBS, FOX and ABC out of home but your non Apple devices can not?

CBS doesn't show on TV GO when streaming. Need to understand. It used to be there.
