lg tv

all of a sudden i can’t open the xfinity stream

app on my lg tv. it opens on all my other tvs and it worked yesterday. and yes i’m in my xfinity home wifi

thanks for reaching out!  i figured it out. i just deleted the app from my tv and re installed it and it works fine now.  thanks

I am having a similar issue on my LG TV. The TV is connected directly to the router via Ethernet and has been working pretty flawlessly for the past 6 months or so. 

To troubleshoot, I uninstalled the app, logged out of my LG account. logged back in and reinstalled the app. 

After waiting for a while, it asked me to "authorize" the TV, which I did and the streaming started working.

However, after turning the television off and back on, I am back to seeing only the 3 dots on the xfinity stream loading screen. I have tried on wireless as well.

I double-checked that I can stream on my laptop plugged into the same router and I can.
