The cable industry does not permit customers to purchase their rental devices. The best you can do is purchase one of the approved devices listed on https://www.xfinity.com/support/devices. Be sure to also check the "All Compatible Devices" link near the bottom of of that page.

Hey @Edward396, thanks for reaching out to Xfinity Support on our forums. Thanks also @BruceW for answering their question. They are correct, we do not sell our modems but you can purchase third party ones.
