Fox News not viewable on Xfinity Streaming

Hey there daveamato 👋 Can you let me know what happens for you when you try to access Fox News from the Xfinity Stream site if that's where you're experiencing the issue?

Good afternoon Btrflyglfr are you experiencing this issue when watching live programming, recorded content, or OnDemand from Fox News? Have you already unplugged the box from the power for 30-seconds?

We have this pixilation live and on recorded shows equally.  

Thank you for the information @Btrflyglfr. Is the cable box you have wireless or does it have a cable line going to it? If it has a cable line, is that line tight on the box and in the wall?

Cable runs to the box.  Cable is tight on both ends.  Pixilation continued last night.

@user_h6ku82​ I'm running this on a laptop and iPad with Xfinity app.  So a fire stick isn't the answer

Good afternoon user_4s1ngd. Have you already attempted deleting the App, and reinstalling it?

@XfinityJon​ I'm sure you'd want to get a cute little green checkmark but no.   Why would ONE channel out of the hundreds of channels not work.  Why would this be a problem for only ONE channel .... oh... maybe it's because NBC xfinity doesn't like us watching Fox news!!?!??  

@XfinityVianney​ this is a perpetual problem on several platforms.  It has made watching the news almost impossible on any other device or location than the tv that is directly connected to the xfinity box and wifi.   The stuttering of the video stream is bad enough, but there are long "commercial breaks" that go on well beyond a normal break.   Exiting the feed and re-starting the program, shows that they're well into in the next segment.   Returning from commercial breaks are a perpetual problem.   Stuttering of the feed is also a problem.  

And it's HIGHLY ANNOYING that Xfinity commercials play well beyond the commercial break and into the programming!!!   

This happens on an iPad, my iPhone, as well as a remote smart tv in the house.   I'm not the only person complaining about it, and it sure seems strange that xfinity, owned by NBC, is somehow unable to stream their competitor.

I pay you over $300.00 a month for your service, which is more than my water, sewage, electric, and gas COMBINED!!!!   The least you can do is provide the service I'm paying an outrageous amount of money for.

Maybe it's time to let the door to door sales people for other companies, come into the house and explain other options for internet and TV service !!!

Can you share what type of troubleshooting you've done, such as restarting the modem, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, as well as making sure your devices are fully up to date with any software updates?

@XfinityBillie​ isn't it interesting the EVERYONE seems to have this problem and the only thing you can say is... did you reinstall the app??  The app that works fine on EVERY OTHER CHANNEL??? 

Good evening @user_nr8hxs, and thank you for reaching out on our Community Forums. I see that you are having trouble streaming Fox News. Are you experiencing any error codes or messages? 

there are no error codes... it's just that Fox News channel, is the only channel that this happens with.  The commercial break comes and then never goes back to regular programming... it just stays with a screen saying it's on commercial break.  When you shut down the channel and restart it, you discover that they're well into the next segment or have moved on to another program even.  ... sometimes, xfinity commercials take over and run well into the next segment... Seriously??  you're already getting 300+ bucks a month for your service and you have to shove more commercials for you into my feed??

There are no error codes, no black screens and it happens on my laptop as well as my iPad.  ...
