Fox News not viewable on Xfinity Streaming

why is fox news not available on xfinity streaming?  All other channels work just fine!

The issue is with cable boxes. If I stream it on the Xfinity stream app Fox News channel works.  It seems like everyone’s having this issue. How long is it gonna take for Xfinity to create a ticket and fix the issue!?

I’m getting massive pixilation and garbled sound only on Fox News.  Everything else works fine.  We have reset the box by hitting the “A” button on the remote, and it worked for 5 minutes and then went back to massive pixilation again.  How do we fix this?

Thank you for the information @Btrflyglfr. Is the cable box you have wireless or does it have a cable line going to it? If it has a cable line, is that line tight on the box and in the wall?

Cable runs to the box.  Cable is tight on both ends.  Pixilation continued last night.

I found the solution to fix xfinity app streaming Fox news channel.  I got a fire stick. Works great now.

Guide on Xfinity stream is an hour ahead although device is local. This is only on my dell laptop and on the website.

Seems like Xfinity doesn't let Fox play when things are being shown in the news that they don't want us to see.... especially see a conservative viewpoint on current events.... shame on Xfinity for blocking fox on the streaming side of their "service" that we PAY FOR!!!

I've been having trouble viewing Fox News on my Xfinity streaming app. All channels are working fine. This has happened to me several times in the last month. It will go to a commercial and get stuck with the screen saying there's a commercial and it never comes back. I try all the other Fox News channels on the app and it does the same thing. Xfinity please fix this

@XfinityJon​ I'm sure you'd want to get a cute little green checkmark but no.   Why would ONE channel out of the hundreds of channels not work.  Why would this be a problem for only ONE channel .... oh... maybe it's because NBC xfinity doesn't like us watching Fox news!!?!??

there are no error codes... it's just that Fox News channel, is the only channel that this happens with.  The commercial break comes and then never goes back to regular programming... it just stays with a screen saying it's on commercial break.  When you shut down the channel and restart it, you discover that they're well into the next segment or have moved on to another program even.  ... sometimes, xfinity commercials take over and run well into the next segment... Seriously??  you're already getting 300+ bucks a month for your service and you have to shove more commercials for you into my feed??

There are no error codes, no black screens and it happens on my laptop as well as my iPad.  ...

When I signed up for my new home in September 2025, I was assured that I could get FOX News with NowTV. Was not sent a box-did not even know I needed one. Was not happy being deceived. Picked up box that DID NOT WORK. Xfinity was apparently the only option for internet where I now live. I had Fios previously without issue. I picked up a Roku stick to try and work around whatever issues Xfinity has with people watching FOX News. I could only stream from my iPad with a subscription to I believe Fox One. Ended up purchasing Sling which did the trick-at a large cost. This is absolutely ridiculous. There is no reason for this. If you pay for Xfinity cable you can get it. But not streaming.
