firestick xfinity tv app not syncing with the video in the recorded programs this is happening on both of my 4k firesticks
When playing some of my recorded content through the firestick the audio and video are not syncing up with each other. The same content acts the same way on both of my 4k firesticks forcing me to watch that content on the cable box. I bought the firesticks to be able to watch all my TV services without having to switch back and forth. This is frustrating is there a fix? I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app refreshed the firestick done all I could think of besides setting the device back to the factory settings and starting over and I'm not about to do that.

I'm experiencing the same issue on multiple devices a firestick, firestick 4k and a 4k toshiba fire tv. This not a device issue this is an app issue. Xfinity charges through the nose for service that is often unwatchable. Please fix the app.

Im glad i found this discussion. Im having same problem on my firestick with xfinity stream beta..the audio and video is out of line ..its crazy because it wasn't happening a few months ago.🤷♀️
Is there a resolution yet?

I am having the same issue on a Fire Tv programs when I watch recorded programs. I don’t have the issue if I I watch the same program on my IPAD. Is is only the Xfinity Stream Beta App for fire tv. It is about a 4 second delay.

I'm sorry everyone but the development team has stopped working with me. They want to send someone to my home to investigate but I'm not paying for that. I know they will charge me because they want to check out the Fire Sticks not their equipment and they charge for anything that requires them to deal with equipment that is not theirs. Looks like this is the end of any attempts to fix the app. [Edited: "language/solicitation"]

I also have experienced this. It was very bad on a Survivor show that I recorded. That show has lots of commercials, so it was very annoying having to watch the three second or so out of sync video. Most of my early morning recorded news does not have this problem, but once in a while they do. It is very unpredictable.
I could not get the Xfinity boxes, other than the main dvr box to work, so I switched to firesticks, and use them on three of my other TVs. They worked okay, except for freezing once in a while when watching on demand stuff.
The out of sync video and audio problem seems more frequent recently. I have no problem streaming content on my Ipads or laptops. The firestick works fine with all my other apps. Only the Xfinity app gives me problems. However, none of my other apps show recorded content. So it appears this problem is an Xfinity app problem that occurs only when displaying recorded content. This occurs on all three of my firesticks. I have tried restarting the firestick, clearing the cache, various audio settings, but nothing worked. I think that a software fix to the app is what is needed to fix this problem, because I think every other possibility has been eliminated

the streaming app on my 2 firesticks 4k, android phone, android tablet and iphone have recorded shows that the audio is out of sync.. this has been happening for about 4 to 6 weeks.. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the apps.. cleared the data and cache and no change.. it happens on different shows and different channels..

We have the same problem with our firestick and it is only getting worse lately! I am
[Edit: Language] bc it was an xfinity rep who had me turn in my box to save money and I can’t stand it anymore! I need the box back. The app is terrible.

I have the exact same problem no matter where I use the app!
I tried it on two different fire sticks, my cell phone, and my tablet; there's always an audio delay!

Same! This issue started a couple of weeks ago. Tonight, I watched recording of 911 on Firestick, it had the lag. Switched to Roku was fine for a while but the lag kicked in. Very frustrating. When will there be a solution? I don't have a cable box. Went streaming only and was fine until two weeks ago.

I see the person above mentioned that a Comcast rep suggested not needing a box and using firestick; this is exactly what happened to me. I've had problems with syncing on recordings for a while, but it's gotten to the point that NO recordings are watchable to me anymore. A second off is irritating but at this point it's amazing, some are 3-5, it's unbelievable. I basically have to listen to the sound and look up every once in a while so I have some frame of reference. I don't understand how Comcast justifies the insane amount of money we pay for this awful service.

Same issue for me as well. Please release a new fire stick app. Recording unusable when audio is not synced.
