Expired emergency Alert continues to interrupt every show I try to watch.

Emergency Alert Keeps Playing

So I'm on the xfinity app for my Android phone watching TV, and the emergency alert keeps playing for the weather Alert that ended days ago. Within minutes of watching EVERY channel, the emergency alert keeps coming on. It's prohibiting me from watching TV. Why is this alert playing every minute? I restarted browser still playing, isn't playing on my regular TV, just my phone.

Thanks for reaching out, RosietheRealtor! I'd be more than happy to take a look and see what I can find. Are you still getting those alerts or have they stopped since your last message?

I have this problem right now.. There was a real alert today in Oakland California.  But it plays once if you have cable box.. but on the stream app, it plays over and over making them useless. Even removed the app from the Apple TV, and re-installed it.. came right back. Went to a computer and phone.. hours after the alert.. if you start the app and watch anything. after a short bit you get the alert.. over and over without end..  makes the app unusable.. How do I get the app back?  Seems like something it cached.. that should not be.. works as expected on the actual cable box.. playing once..

I am having this issue, too. Alert will not end. There’s no way to get it off the screen.

@user_vylekx We appreciate you taking the time to reach out to us here on our Xfinity Forums, I can understand how frustrating it would be to have an emergency alert coming across while trying to view TV. Is this issue still occurring? If so, can you tell me how you are viewing the programming? Is it on a computer via our Stream page or via a smartphone with our Xfinity Stream app.
