Same issue here. I have a standalone Roku device connected to a tv via hdmi and with the Xfinity Stream app installed. The app worked great for the first 5-6 months that I had the Roku. Then it just stopped. All the other streaming apps are working fine. When I open the app, it initializes and then I can select "recorded". It thinks for a few seconds and then I get: "Sorry! API Timeout error occurred." "(Error: TVAPP-00800). One more bit of info, I am able to watch Stream fine on iPad and iPhone while on the same home Wifi.
Hey there, user_gmw9vt, thanks for reaching out through Xfinity Forums regarding the issue with your Xfinity Stream app on Roku! I know how much my household loves using the Xfinity Stream app to watch all of our favorite shows! Are you getting any error messages? Have you tried using the Stream app on another device and are you having the same issue? Have you ensured you are connected to your In-Home Network?
