Hi there @user_97kbqf, thanks for reaching out, I hope you're having a great start to your weekend. There are a few common reasons this can happen, and I'm happy to help you get to the bottom of it.
Sometimes, channel availability is subject to licensing agreements and your specific TV package, which can vary by location. You can view your current channel lineup by visiting https://www.xfinity.com/support/local-channel-lineup and signing in.
If you're using the Xfinity Stream app, some local channels are only available when connected to your in-home Wi-Fi network due to regional broadcast rights.
As soon as my husband gets out of the hospital, we’re leaving XFinity. I’ve lost my favorite station, channel 7 (ABC) , I tape programs daily on there, and I’m suffering without them! We’ll be switching to You Tube, and I’ll gladly start paying 1/2 the price I’m paying now. Everyone I know is switching or will switch soon. Thank you for your mistake. I’ll have my programs back with a lot more money in my pocket. I can’t believe I’ve been overpaying for so long, and so much.
Hello @Cabramowicz and thank you for letting us know about your concerns regarding your missing programming channel.
This programming is currently unavailable as Comcast’s agreement with the network has expired.
Please know Comcast pays programmers to bring you the entertainment you love, and a number of reasonable offers have been made that they haven’t accepted, and we are working toward bringing back this programming, but only with fair pricing, terms, and conditions for customers.
We know unexpected changes to your TV lineup can be frustrating, and apologize for any inconvenience. For more information, please visit https://www.xfinity.com/programmingchanges.

That’s unacceptable! I pay over $300/mo. Just for TV and 80% is on ABC! I can’t tape anything. It depresses me that I pay so much and only my husband gets his channels, but he has some on ABC also. Shame on you. Since when does Comcast care about us? Bite the bullet and make us happy. Just so you know, we are seriously thinking of going to another company. Waiting for my husband to get out of the hospital. If I don’t have it be then, then Bye! Don’t you make enough money off of all of us?
