Visual Voicemail Tripping!!!
Is anyone having Visual Voicemail issues? All of a sudden I get a " Welcome to the Message Management System, please enter your mailbox number". Nothing I do gets me by that message. Callers get the same message when they call and I don't answer. It is now impossible to leave me a message.

Somewhat same issue and I am glad they have it sorted out. That workaround is not working for my phone (Android....Moto One 5G Ace). Any number input is incorrect. The phone even says that Visual Voicemail is not even setup, call Voicemail to finish setup. Disabling Call Forwarding did nothing.
So to re-iterate.....I cant access Voicemail from my end, and no one can leave me a message from their end......"Welcome to the Message Management System, please enter your mailbox number" is the message, and any number entered comes back with a ......" this is not a valid mailbox number"

Problem solved.....here is what I did to fix the issue, and first and foremost remember that the Xfinity Voicemail App is not needed on my phone
because Visual Voicemail is a pre- installed System APP!!!
1. Just for kicks I downloaded the Xfinity Voicemail app from PlayStore. After installation it immediately allowed me to enter Voicemail settings and allowed voicemails to be left by others. Interesting I thought...
2. So after playing around with it for a couple hours and still seeing the "Visual Voicemail not set up error" I uninstalled the Xfinity app.
3. After uninstalling I was still able to enter my voicemail and others were still able to leave a voivemail, just the Visual part was not working and the Setup error was still there.
4. And here in lies the key to the whole process...so I called Xfinity Mobile about 8 times today and every one that answered said that they could fix the issue.....yet nobody was actually listening to what I was actually explaining to them. Then I finally got a hold of a very friendly young lady named "Angela" that actually let me talk about everything I had done. I asked her..."can't you just deprogram Visual Voicemail from my device on your end since its a System APP, verify the deprogramming, then reprogram the app and I do a Network Reset? Her answer was, " yes that is what we will do". Mission accomplished and Visual Voicemail is now working 100%
Good Luck and if you are experiencing the issue with a Android phone, I hope this helps you!!!!
