Update on iPhone 14 Shipments

Xfinity Mobile customers’ iPhone 14 orders may arrive a few days later than expected due to delivery delays from the manufacturer. We’ll email customers their shipping confirmation with tracking information as soon as the devices ship. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience.

We signed up Xfinity Mobile transferring two lines for the iPhone 14 Pro promotion ($400 off). We ordered my wife's iPhone 14 Pro on Sept. 17th. The agent gave us an order number and said we were good to go and the expected receive date was Oct. 14th. Well now Oct 14th is here and no phone. I contacted Xfinity Mobile support, and learned that my order was canceled do to some verification process. The agent said he could reorder, but the $400 promotion had expired, I would have to pay full price. Is Comcast using promotions to get people to sign up and then using process to get out of honoring the promotion?

@user_33dcf4​ I'd go off and fight it honestly. I mean they should NOT be denying you the promotional credit when they couldn't "verify" you, which is their issue. Contact the person so it can be verified and continue. I feel you are right and its a ploy at times to get people to sign up. 

Comcast already owes me $85 for my cancelled 14 Pro(i cancelled to go with the PRO MAX and this was almost 3 weeks ago) they haven't refunded me, and if they even try cancelling my Pro Max I will turn sand to glass until I get my $400 credits. Hell I don't even get 5G service thats advertised in my area on my iPhone 12 Pro.

Today my iPhone 14  has been shipped by xfinity earlier then expected. Ordered from September 29th it was expected on Oct. 21st due to back order. I still have a problem with this  promotion for the $599 off it has yet to be applied to my iPhone 13.

Ordered my wife an Iphone 14 Pro deep purple on 9/11 with website showing expected delivery on 9/18. Never got a confirmation email. Called in on 9/21 to check on the status of the phone and was told they see the order, but phone is back ordered and that I just need to wait. 10/5 I order myself an Iphone 14 Pro black and receive a confirmation email the next day. I call in again as I thought it was strange that I got a confirmation email, but my wife's phone from 9/11 still has no confirmation email. They tell me again, they see the order and deep purple is back ordered I just need to wait. 10/19 I receive my Iphone 14 Pro black. Found it weird that my order from 10/5 got delivered before my wife's order on 9/11 so I call in to see what's going on. Now I am told my 9/11 order was cancelled because of inventory reasons. What? It sat for almost a month and 2 customer support reps told me they saw the order and now it just magically cancelled itself. I ask the rep if I could just place another order for the Iphone 14 Pro deep purple 256GB as I saw the website say it was available. My original order on 9/11 also had a promotion price of $400 off so I ask if that promotion could be applied as It is not my fault the order sat for over a month and then just cancelled itself. Rep tells me nothing they can do. If I order today, it is after the promotion date so it'll be full price. At this point I'll gladly return my Iphone and switch carriers if this is how Xfinity treats their customers.

@jtran408​ Its ridiculous that Xfinity couldn't have reached out and be clear there was an issue regarding your order. Cancelling the order to me is what is the most frustrating part when they could have called, emailed, or done something or asked if you wanted to change to a different color mode, but they KNEW they would get more stock in, so it makes zero sense. I would fight for the bill credit because why should YOU pay for their mess up? I would refuse to accept it and would demand to speak to someone higher, tier 2 or tier 3.

When I say Xfinity Mobile is incredibly disorganized, I mean it. From trying to cancel a pre-order and still not receiving my refund after 3 weeks, this has been a headache. I'm sorry this happened to you. =(
