FAQs
Why is my device no longer compatible?
Our network partner made a change that makes Apple devices with older operating systems incompatible with Xfinity Mobile.
I have an impacted device. What options are available to me?
iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch users with outdated OS will need to replace their device or update their iOS to iOS 14 or newer for the iPhones and iPads and watchOS 8 for their Apple Watch. If replacing your device, you can purchase a new phone or tablet from Xfinity Mobile or bring your own compatible phone to Xfinity Mobile. You can also disconnect your impacted line(s) of service.
How do I check what iOS I’m currently using?
On your iPhone go to Settings > General > About. The iOS version will be listed on the screen. For your Apple Watch, select the Settings app (gear icon), then go to General > About and the watchOS will be listed.
