Manage your mobile contact number in the Xfinity app (Answered)

Use the Xfinity app to manage the mobile contact number linked with your Xfinity ID.


Add a mobile contact number


Your mobile contact number can be added in the Xfinity app.

  1. Sign in with your Xfinity ID and password.
  2. Tap the Account tab at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Tap Account settings.

  4. Tap Xfinity ID and security.

  5. Tap Add mobile number.

  6. Enter your Mobile number. Tap Continue.
    • A code will be sent to the mobile number you entered.

  7. Enter the code. Tap Verify.

    • You will get a confirmation message.


Change a mobile contact number

  1. Tap the Account tab.
  2. Tap Account settings.
  3. Tap Xfinity ID and security.
  4. Tap your mobile number.

  5. On the pop-up screen, tap Change mobile number.

  6. Enter your mobile number. Tap Continue.
    • A code will be sent to the mobile number.
  7. Enter the code. Tap Verify.
  8. You will be asked to verify your identity before making this change. You can choose one of two ways:
    • Tap a notification in the Xfinity app.
    • Enter a code sent through email or text.
      • You will get a confirmation message.
