How do I add a line to my Xfinity Mobile account? (Answered)

There's never been a better time to add a line to your Xfinity Mobile account. Learn how to use the Xfinity app or website to add a line to your account below.

Adding a line with the Xfinity app


To add a line to your account:

  1. Sign in using the Primary or Manager's Xfinity ID and password.
  2. Tap the Services tab.
  3. Select the Mobile lines and data usage option located within the Mobile services card.

  4. Scroll to Add a line.
  5. Pick Bring your device or Shop new devices and follow the on screen prompts.

      • You may be required to sign in again.
      • If you are shopping for new devices — continue with Step 5 below.

Adding a line using the Xfinity website


To add a line to your account:

  1. Go to xfinity.com/mobile.
  2. Click My Account in the top banner and select Log In.
  3. Sign in using the Primary or Manager's Xfinity ID and password.
  4. Select SHOP from the menu bar at the top of the screen.
  5. Pick the device type you want to add.
    • If you want to bring your own device, choose Bring Your Own. For more on bringing your own device see, Bring a device to a new line.
    • You can search by device manufacturer or use the filter to sort the results.
    • If you are adding a smartwatch line, follow the steps below.
  6. After you have picked the make and model, customize your purchase and choose to Add a new line.

Your new device will be added as a new line on your Xfinity Mobile account. For the new line, you'll pick from one of our Unlimited data options.

Adding a smartwatch line

After you’ve added a new line using the Xfinity app or website, follow these extra steps to finish setting up your smartwatch:

  1. If your smartwatch can be used as a stand-alone watch you will see two options: Pair my watch with a phone or Don’t pair, get a new number.
  2. Customize your purchase by naming the device and choosing if you’d like to protect your device.
  3. Select Add to cart to complete your order.
