Customer Feedback: Excellent Human Support, Frustrating AI Troubleshooting Experience

Yesterday, the internet service in our high-rise building was down for more than half a day. I first noticed the outage around 5 PM and went to your website to seek assistance.

I was directed to an AI-driven chat system, and the experience was extremely frustrating. The system was unable to respond appropriately to my questions or concerns, leaving me feeling that I was getting nowhere.

I eventually called and requested to speak with a real person. What a difference!

The representative I spoke with was extremely polite, apologetic, and empathetic. Although she couldn’t resolve the problem because the outage was still under investigation, I felt much better after speaking with her. In fact, I specifically thanked her for the way she handled our conversation.

This experience illustrates something important: Good customer service is not always about immediately solving a problem. Sometimes it is about listening, understanding the customer’s frustration, and communicating with empathy.

My main criticism is therefore not directed at your customer service representatives, but at your AI troubleshooting system. Rather than making the support process easier, it made an already frustrating situation worse.

I hope you will take this feedback seriously as you continue developing your AI-based customer support.
