Charged for Netflix premium plan twice after accidental sign-up — refund refused

I'm writing to report a billing issue that I believe is being handled unfairly.

My child accidentally tapped the Netflix button (I had earlier subscription paid by me directly), which triggered a premium plan subscription. There was no confirmation step — no prompt to confirm the plan, no "are you sure," nothing. I noticed the charge within hours and immediately requested that the subscription be cancelled and refunded. There is zero watch history, no usage at all, they can validate

Despite reaching out the same day, Xfinity declined to issue a refund and told me I'm obligated to retain the plan for a full month. I've now been charged for a second month for a service I never knowingly signed up for and have never used.

A subscription that can be triggered by a single accidental tap, with no confirmation and no grace period for refunds, is not a fair billing practice. I'm asking for the subscription to be cancelled immediately and both months refunded.

Has anyone else run into this? I'd appreciate any advice on how to escalate.
