youtube app

I was watching a live stream on the YouTube app the other day and turned the TV off by mistake. After I turned the TV back on I noticed the live stream was gone and I was back at home page for the app. This doesn't happen with any of the other streaming services I have. Why does it happen and how do I stop it from ever happening again?

Anon1469768 Thanks for posting on our Community Forums. It wouldn't be a setting that we have available to adjust on our X1 platform. It may be a feature set by YouTube and you can check the settings within the app.

I checked the settings and there's nothing I can change at all.
