xfinity app stuck in infinite login loop

The xfinity app for iPhone will not do anything other than tell me to change my password. I do and it still asks me to change password. I can log into my account using Edge on my PC but if I want to make a payment it creates a page that says we encountered a problem come back later. Today, I cleared the xfinity web page cache and was able to make a payment. But the xfinity app still doesn't work. I have deleted it and reinstalled it wasting so much of my time trying to get the stupid app to work. It has not worked since October 2025, and the website started giving me problems in March 2026.

My internet works fine. I want the app and my account website to work.

From what I read, this appears to only be resolved by direct messaging with support.

Hi there, @user_bxnyeq! I am sorry to hear you have been stuck in a login loop. I am glad you cleared the cache and our website starting working for you but want to get the Xfinity app fixed as well.

1. Have you tried clearing you cache on your iPhone as well? Sometimes old data will cause it to get hung up.

2. Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall the Xfinity app?

3. Are you logging in as the Primary User or a Manager for the account?

I cleared the cache on my iPhone many times. I have deleted and reinstalled the app too many times. I have changed my password far too many times. I am the primary user.

This app never worked from day one.

Thanks for trying those troubleshooting steps. Have you tried logging in to the Xfinity app while connected to cellular data with Wi-Fi turned off? This can help determine if the app is reaching the account services properly or if the issue is specific to the app authentication process on the device.

Have you also checked Caps lock on/off, special characters (#$&)?
