Xfinity app notifications [Edited]

Anyone getting notifications on their Xfinity app when their bill is due?  I only sometimes get an email notification that the bill is due.  I get so many emails, that it's very easy to miss that notification.  If the Xfinity app would pop up an alert, I'd never miss it, and would have way fewer (if ever) missed bills.  Is this unique to my phone?  Are others getting app notifications when their bill is due?

In case it ends up being more specific to my setup, I'm on Android.  But before I blame the o/s or some permission on my phone, I'd like to know if others reliably receive alerts from the app when the bill is ready, and maybe a second one when the bill is due if it hasn't already been paid?  Thanks!

user_kja42 Hello! You should be able to receive notifications through the Xfinity App to notify you when your bill is due. Please open your Xfinity App, go to your 'Account Settings', go to 'Notification Settings' and you can choose how you want to be notified (text or email). Hope this helps!

Thanks for getting back to me.  This is not the "Xfinity My Account" app, but the newer Xfinity app.  In the Account Settings, there is no 'Notification Settings' choice at all.

Thanks for reaching out! At this time, the Xfinity app doesn’t support push notifications for when your bill is ready — we totally get how helpful that would be. However, you can choose to receive bill notifications by text or email instead.

To set that up, just sign in at xfinity.com using a browser. Once you're in, click on the Account icon (it looks like a little head and shoulders in a circle), then select Account & Identity. From there, go to Account Communications — that’s where you’ll be able to choose how you’d like to get your “bill is ready” alerts.

We hope this helps make things a little easier! Let us know if you have any other questions — we're always here to help.
