xfinity app - can't sign in - bounces back to sign in screen

I tried clearing iPhone cache and reinstalling the xfinity app but every time I sign in, the app bounces back to the sign in screen.

the solution was to call 1-800-Xfinity (800-934-6489) and speak to someone to activate on their end.  the app was useless in my experience.

I consistently get "Error 500 - Internal Error" upon attempts to sign in.

Hi there @ user_90515c, thank you for reaching out.  I know how important it is to sign into the XFINITY app. Is this the My Account app you’re having issues with?  I’m sorry to hear you’ve been experiencing problems logging in.  I’d like to ask, are you able to log in from the web portal without any problems?

Hello, I am having similar issue to user 90515c trying to sign in to my Xfinity Connect account on my I Pad to read email. The app works on my I phone and desktop but not the I Pad. The error msg reads " A required service is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later. (SRV-0001)" The issue started Monday.
